Eventuri BMW G20 / G22 B48 Black Carbon Intake System - POST November 2018
The BMW G2X B48 Eventuri intake has been developed to provide the turbo with a less restrictive flow path whilst maintaining low inlet temperatures. Heat and Volume are the main considerations when designing an intake for turbocharged engines. In the G20 3-Series and G22 4-Series, the intake system is located next to the exhaust manifold which rapidly heat soaks the engine bay. High temperatures are detrimental for engine performance as the turbo would have to build boost with heated, less dense air and so the only way to ensure IAT’s are kept to a minimum is for a fully sealed intake. This however, results in a restriction with only one stock air feed to draw air in from. During development we noticed an additional opening into the wheel arch area and took advantage of this by adding a secondary feed to our airbox. Furthermore our sealed airbox also has a heat shield with gold reflective to minimise the radiative heat transfer from the exhaust manifold. In order to maximise volume we made the airbox as large as possible with a recess for potential strut braces. The stock convoluted intake tube is replaced with a smooth carbon tube which is also larger in internal volume with a starting internal diameter of 111mm (4.4″) smoothly tapering down to match the turbo inlet. The tube provides a smooth path from the filter to the turbo inlet. Finally we use a custom made high-flow dry filter which is ISO tested for filtration performance and has a larger filtration area than the stock filter.
The Eventuri Difference
The G2X B48 Eventuri system uses our Patented Carbon Fibre Housings with our Gen 2 bespoke filters, which provide an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the turbos. Not just another cone filter with a heat shield but a unique design which invokes the Venturi affect and maintains laminar flow conditions to reduce the drag on the turbo. The G2X B48 OEM airbox system was updated in cars built after November 2018 where the airflow sensor was replaced with a temperature sensor in the inlet tube. Prior to this date, all airbox systems had an airflow sensor and for this reason we offer 2 variations. The V1 intake which has an inlet tube to take the MAF (airflow) sensor and the V2 intake for cars built after November 2018 which use a temperature sensor

RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Rush Customs will only handle returns for the direct purchaser. If the purchase was made from a retailer other than rushcustomsllc.com, please contact the place of purchase for further assistance.
You must open and inspect items within 48hrs to confirm no damage and or correct product in order to qualify for a refund or exchange.
Returns on ‘new’ merchandise for exchange or refund will be allowed within 30 days from the date of shipment. ‘New’ merchandise cannot be used or show signs of damage from installation or mounting. If you install or modify parts ordered in any way, you automatically waive your right to returns, refunds or exchanges. Exchange shipping costs is the responsibility of the customer.
All returns must be accompanied with a ‘return merchandise authorization’ (RMA). To receive an RMA, you must contact Rush Customs at firstname.lastname@example.org. When requesting an RMA, please provide the following details: Name, Order Number, Date of Purchase, and Phone Number. Returns will not be processed without an RMA. Returns must also be received within 14 days from the issuance of the RMA. A RMA does not guarantee a refund or replacement.
All returns will be inspected upon return to Rush Customs for return eligibility. Returns must be shipped prepaid by the customers. Please maintain all shipping and tracking information until your return is processed since Rush Customs is not responsible for items lost in shipment. Shipping charges are not refundable. Please include a copy of your original invoice and contact information with all returns.
Eligible returns will be exchanged or refunded less a 20% restocking fee. Refunds will be issued by check or to the credit card used for the original purchase.
Purchases may be cancelled for a full refund before the order ships. Please contact Rush Customs immediately at email@example.com to stop the processing of an order. Once cancellation is confirmed, a credit will be issued.
Orders already shipped from Rush Customs facility or drop-shipped vendor's place of business cannot be cancelled and will fall under the Returns for Refund or Exchange guidelines.
Special order or customized items cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged.
It is the responsibility of the customer/installer to verify the proper size and application of all parts before installation.
We will not be responsible for packages marked as delivered. It is the customers responsibility to file a lost or stolen package claim with the shipping company used for shipping.
